I was referred to Kayla by a bride whose wedding I shot in 2011, and I’m so grateful she connected us.  Kayla and Chad were amazing company as we did their engagement shoot.  Everything went well, even though Kayla was under the weather – their posing was natural, they were sweet and kind to one another, and the weather was perfect.

Then, as we were leaving, they realized that they’d locked their keys in the car – at this point we were about an hour away from where they live, so this wasn’t exactly a small problem.  I remember wondering how they were going to handle it, and they couldn’t have handled it any better.  They tried the usual options, then found out Kayla’s mom was on her way through the area in an hour and had a spare key – so we all decided to grab a bite to eat to kill some time and had a great time chatting over some pretty tasty food.  Mom arrived just as we finished, and they were safely on their way – but not before they’d shown what a fantastic couple they made.
